These terms govern your use of changepointinitiative.org, which is owned and operated by ChangePoint Advancement Initiative for Development (C-PAID), an incorporated trustee registered in Nigeria under registration number [IT number]. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About this website

This website shares information about C-PAID, our programmes and the ways people and organisations can support our work. The content is provided for general information only. It is not professional, legal, financial or medical advice, and you should not rely on it as such.

2. Using the website responsibly

You may browse, read and share our content for personal and non-commercial purposes. When you use the site, you agree not to:

  • use it for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
  • submit false information, or impersonate any person or organisation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system;
  • introduce viruses, malicious code or anything that may disrupt the site;
  • copy, scrape or collect content or personal data from the site by automated means without our written permission.

3. Our content and brand

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website, including text, graphics, the C-PAID name, the ChangePoint mark, logos and programme names, belongs to C-PAID or is used with permission. Photographs of programme participants and communities are used with consent and must not be copied, edited or reused in any form.

You are welcome to quote short extracts from our articles or share links to our pages, provided you credit C-PAID and link back to the original page. Any other use, including commercial use or use of our logos, requires our prior written permission. Please write to contact@changepointinitiative.org.

4. Information you send us

When you submit a form or send us a message, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. Submitting an enquiry, partnership proposal or volunteer application does not create a binding agreement. Any partnership, placement or funding arrangement will be agreed separately in writing.

5. Donations and protection against fraud

C-PAID will only ask for donations through official channels published on this website or confirmed in writing from an @changepointinitiative.org email address. We will never ask you to send money to a personal bank account. If you receive a request for funds in C-PAID’s name that seems suspicious, please do not pay. Contact us at donate@changepointinitiative.org so that we can verify it.

Where online giving is introduced, any additional terms that apply to donations, such as refund arrangements, will be set out on our Donate page.

Our site may link to websites run by partners, funders or other organisations. We provide these links for convenience only. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

7. Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or free from error. Programme details, dates and eligibility may change. We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, C-PAID is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or from your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date, and your continued use of the site means you accept the revised terms.
